Cabinet fees

The intervention fees of SELARL Nicolas CHAMBET may be determined on a lump sum basis or by reference to the time spent on monitoring the file. An additional performance fee may be provided.

HOURLY RATE

The lawyer specifies to his clients the hourly rate they propose to apply if they choose the time spent method. He indicates to his clients the time likely to be devoted to studying and processing the file. This rate may vary within the same firm depending on the cases handled. A higher hourly rate may be agreed in cases which warrant it.

PACKAGE FEES

The lawyer and his client agree to a fixed and final fee. The procedures covered by this fee must be precisely indicated.

FEE BASED RESULT

The lawyer may agree with his client the fixing of an additional performance fee which must be expressly stipulated in an agreement previously agreed between the lawyer and his client, but the said agreement must also provide for a main diligence fee.

Average Cost of Fees per Procedure

These fees will vary depending on the time spent, the difficulty of the dispute and the attitude and defense of the opposing party.

The handling of all financial transaction (exclusive of legal fees) must be carried out through CARPA (Fund for Lawyers' Pecuniary Regulations).

It takes 21 days to cash a cheque when it is banked by CARPA (Allow about a month for payment after cashing).

The expenses and fees may be deducted from the funds held for the client (by CARPA) with the express written authorization of the client.

In the event of a dispute relating to the validity, interpretation or execution of this agreement, the President of the Bar Association of Annecy may be seized at the request of the first party to take action.
